Father’s are Sons Too – Letters To Our Sons – HAPPY FATHER’S DAY!

Father’s Day is a celebration honoring fathers and celebrating fatherhood, paternal bonds, and the influence of fathers in society. Many countries celebrate it on the third Sunday of June, though it is also celebrated widely on other days.

As we celebrate Father’s Day I want to salute and honor all of the fathers that have stayed the course even when it was hard.  Your children need you more than you know.  Your relationship with your sons and daughters will determine their destiny.

Ephesians 6:2-3 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. HONOR YOUR FATHER AND MOTHER (which is the first commandment with a promise), SO THAT IT MAY BE WELL WITH YOU, AND THAT YOU MAY LIVE LONG ON THE EARTH.

What Is A Dad?

A dad is someone who
wants to catch you before you fall
but instead picks you up,
brushes you off,
and lets you try again.

A dad is someone who
wants to keep you from making mistakes
but instead lets you find your own way,
even though his heart breaks in silence
when you get hurt.

A dad is someone who
holds you when you cry,
scolds you when you break the rules,
shines with pride when you succeed,
and has faith in you even when you fail…

A good father is the one who loves his wife.

Being a great father is like shaving.
No matter how good you shaved today,
you have to do it again tomorrow.

  1. Awesome blog! Do you have any tips for aspiring writers?
I’m planning to start my own blog soon but I’m a little
lost on everything. Would you propose starting with a free
platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many options out there that I’m completely confused ..
    Any suggestions? Thank you!
